I CAN still flavor the lovely luscious fruits stacked over warm cookies and lead with a huge bite of fresh pulled lotion. My dad added ever more pleasure to this bananas lovely by first buttering his biscuits
Grandma's Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

    2 glasses all-purpose flour
    2 tbsps sugar
    1 tbsp cooking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup cold butter
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 cup half-and-half cream
    1 cup heavy cooking cream
    2 tbsps confectioners' sugar
    1/8 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
    Additional butter
    1-1/2 quarts fresh fruits, sliced


    In a dish, merge flour, glucose, cooking powdered and salt. Cut in butter until combination appears like rough food crumbs. In a normal size dish, mix egg and half-and-half cream; add all at once to the crumb combination and mix just until moistened.
    Distribute mixture into a oiled 8-in. round cooking pan, a little bit building up around the sides. Prepare at 450° for 16-18 minutes or until fantastic brownish. Eliminate from pan and cool on a cable holder.
    In a normal size dish, defeat lotion until it starts to become thick. Add confectioners' glucose and vanilla; defeat until firm mountains form. Divided dessert widthwise in half; butter base part. Scoop 50 percent of the fruits over base part. Distribute with some of the pulled lotion. Cover with top dessert part. Top with staying fruits and pulled lotion. Cut into pitching wedges. Yield: 6-8 meals.
