Mom's Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

Mom's Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

    2 eggs
    1-1/2 cup glucose, divided
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cooking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup 2% milk
    1 tbsp butter
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract
    1 to 1-1/2 quarts fresh berries, cuttpees
    Pulled cream
    Great results in, optional


    In a large dish, defeat egg on method speed for 3 moments. Progressively add 1 cup glucose, defeating until dense and lemon-colored. Merge the flour, cooking powdered and salt; defeat into the egg combination. Heat dairy products and butter just until butter starts to liquefy. Beat into combination with vanilla flavor (batter will be thin).
    Add into a oiled 8-in. rectangle cooking pan. Prepare at 350° for 25 moments or until a toothpick placed near the center comes out clean. Awesome for 10 moments before eliminating from pan to a cable holder to relax completely.
    Just before providing, cut dessert into serving-size pieces; cut each piece in half flat in a trench. Merge berries and staying glucose. Scoop berries between dessert levels and over the top of each providing. Top with whipped cream; take with mint results in if preferred. Yield: 9 meals.
