Strawberry Shortcake Cups Recipe

Returning when store-bought shortcake was an unheard-of factor, my granny approved this formula down to my mom. Mother later distributed it with me, and I've since given it to my little girl. —Althea Heers, Jewell, Iowa
Strawberry Shortcake Cups Recipe


Ingredients

    1 qt. clean strawberries
    4 tbsps glucose, divided
    1-1/2 glasses all-purpose flour
    1 tbsp cooking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    Pulled cream

Directions

    Mash or piece the strawberries; place in a large dish. Add 2 tbsps glucose and set aside. In another dish, merge flour, cooking powdered, salt and staying sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. In a normal size dish, defeat egg and milk; mix into flour combination just until moistened.
    Complete eight oiled muffin glasses two-thirds full. Prepare at 425° for 12 minutes or until fantastic. Eliminate from the pan to awesome on a cable holder.
    Just before providing, divided shortcakes in half flat in a trench. Scoop fruits and whipped lotion between levels and over covers of shortcakes. Yield: 8 meals.
