    1 qt. fresh berries, sliced
    1 to 2 tbsps sugar
    SHORTCAKE:
    1-3/4 glasses all-purpose flour
    2 tbsps sugar
    1 tsp. cooking powder
    1/2 tsp. cooking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup cold butter
    1 egg
    3/4 cup bitter cream
    TOPPING:
    1 cup heavy cooking cream
    1 to 2 tbsps sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor extract

Directions

    In a huge dish, merge the berries and sugar; set aside.
    For shortcake, in another huge dish, merge the flour, glucose, cooking powdered, everyday and salt; cut in butter until combination appears like rough food crumbs. In a normal size dish, defeat egg; add bitter lotion. Mix into the crumb combination just until moistened.
    Massage money on a floured surface 25 times or until sleek. Roll out into a 7-1/2-in. group on a lightly oiled cooking piece. Cut a 2-in. hole in center to type a ring. Prepare at 425° for 12-14 minutes or until fantastic. Remove from cooking piece to a cable holder to cool completely.
